Offensively: RHH. Open, narrow stance, as the knob starts lower to begin. Utilized a toe-tap stride with plenty of separation in the box, initiating the swing through a flat, whippy path into the hitting zone. Two-handed finish allowed for some body control, producing a T91 mph exit velocity with a 70% sweet spot rate via Trackman. Natural middle-of-the-order tendencies.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured average posture from a traditional stance, finding the pocket on occasion when receiving. Pop times varied between 2.11-2.33 with efficient transfers and a strong 72 mph arm-strength. Slid over to the OF with a corner skill set, staying behind the ball in a wider, choppy base (78 mph arm).
Physical: Stocky, compact 5-foot-7, 170lb frame. 7.58 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Begins slightly open from a narrow position in the lower half. Barrel slotted at a 45 beyond the head, utilizing a stretched toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through a flat, direct path into the hitting zone. Two-handed finish on the backside, pull-side approach up to an 88 mph exit. Created some short window burst on the ball with good rotational scores, XBH coming.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured low pulse, receiving from left knee down with pocket awareness. Pop times ranged between 2.28-2.38 while letting the ball travel using a loose H ¾ slot that gets up early. Whippy 71 mph arm-strength on target, adding blocking skills too.
