Physical: 5-foot-10, 150 pounds; Average, slender build. 7.58 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Drops hands on the way back with a toe-tap for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a moderate swing path with a two handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 88 MPH via Trackman. Accelerates his bat head into the zone with some consistent aggressiveness produced by an active lower half.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while being aggressive. Hands are soft with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 85 MPH. Displayed controlled aggression, soft hands and arm strength.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 85 MPH, while sitting 83-85 MPH; straight action. CB: 69 MPH; 11-5 shape. SL: 70-71 MPH; lateral action. CH: 73-76 MPH; runs.
Physical: Long, athletic 5-foot-10, 150lb build. 7.93 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Crouched, rhythmic stance from an open position. Utilized a toe-tap stride to initiate a quick, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Early turn to the pull-side of the field for a T82 mph exit velocity, working up to a 291 foot distance. Maintained hard fly ball contact.
Defensively: The shortstop impressed using choppy, active footwork over the front side and released with aggression from a H ¾ slot (80 mph). Made plays from different angles.
Pitching: RHP. Compact, repeatable delivery off the center of the rubber; pitched at 80-81 mph (1982) for strikes and mixed a short, two-plane 69-70 mph CB. Deadened spin on a 70-72 mph CH.
