Physical: Even-framed 5-foot-9, 160lb build with room to fill. 7.52 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Back-loaded, shoulder-width stance, as the hands operated calmly at the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone. Some lift available to the RCF gap, staying on top of the high pitch for consistent hard contact during his round. Recorded a T81 mph bat-exit velocity with barrel-awareness all over the field (67% sweet spot).
Defensively: The backstop featured hip-mobility with alternating stances in the crouch. A soft glove hand transferred smoothly to the ear on the catch-and-throw phase, popping 2.15-2.25 at 73 mph out of the hand (H ¾ slot). Fluid actions, more to come.
Physical: Lean, compact 5-foot-9, 160lb frame with RTF. 7.90 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Crouched, open stance from a wide-based beginning. Utilized some hand rhythm at the shoulder before initiating the swing with a lift and replace stride. Flat path towards a two-handed finish yielding a line drive approach during his BP round. Recorded a T79 mph bat-exit velocity with some consistency available, staying inside the ball at will. Solid barrel awareness and will continue to develop with added strength.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured a comfortable, low-pulse receiving method from right knee down. Pop times ranged between 2.20-2.26 with a fast transfer and short, H ¾ slot on the release. Replaced a strong lower half immediately and used the turf at times, up to 73 mph arm strength. Showed off blocking skills, leading with down angles over the plate.
