Physical: Next level build at 6-foot-2, 205lbs. 7.37 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Bent, even stance at shoulder-width distance, as the hands started calmly in rhythm at the shoulder. Utilized stretch in the load with a lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill path towards a simple two-handed finish. Heavy contact at the front of the plate and lots of maturity in a middle of the field approach. Recorded a 97 mph bat-exit velocity (88 mph AVG) with both a 56% hard hit rate and 351 foot distance on his best blast; strong presence.
Defensively: The third baseman featured a hop in the prep step, showing off range to his glove hand side. Lower posture when needed and the glove-hand worked adequately inside/outside the frame. Notched an 88 mph arm-strength on the front-side from a quicker H-¾ release. Feel to play either corner position.
