Physical: 5-9, 140 pounds; Lean, slender build. 7.51 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 79 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are underneath the body with a delay in transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 74 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly open. Long arm swing while stabbing downward; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 73 MPH, while sitting 68-72 MPH; straight action. CB: 57-60 MPH; 2-8 shape. CH: 61 MPH; maintains same plain.
Physical: Athletic, proportional 5-foot-9, 140-pound build. 4.24 runner in the 30YD.
Offensively: RHH. Wide, grounded stance, as the hands started upright. Utilized a controlled toe-tap stride to initiate his swing through an on-plane, flat path into the hitting zone. Showed a higher finish that allowed for a T77MPH EV and 40% sweet spot rate; developing strength.
Defensively: The primary shortstop flashed active feet and lateral range. Worked from behind the ball using some pocket awareness. Recorded a 68MPH INF arm across the dirt (H ¾).
Pitching: RHP. Pitched off of the center of the mound; simple delivery with medium tempo. FB sat in the upper-60’s, up to T72MPH. Added a small, developing 56-58MPH CB.
