Physical: Lean / athletic 5-foot-11, 150-pound frame with average twitch at the moment, room to add strength as he matures. 8.23 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Crouched stance with a slight bend in the knees at shoulder width apart, the hands started with controlled rhythm over the shoulder. Utilized a knee knock stride while landing slightly closed at footstrike, held good posture throughout with feel for the hands in the box. Stayed inside the baseball working mostly through the middle of the field with a flat bat path, adjustability was present in the legs while hitting into a stiff front side. Demonstrated an impressive 46% line drive rate to 46% fly ball rate generating a positive attack angle on nearly all swings creating natural backspin towards both gaps. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 79 mph per Trackman Baseball. Defensively: The primary backstop demonstrated a high position in the crouch with adequate receiving skills during defensive evaluations. Pop times ranged from 2.31-2.40 standing up at times while catching and getting momentum towards the bag with short directional footwork. Arm strength showed future projection with fluidity through a quick ¾ slot on the release with accuracy towards the bag. High intent during blocks burying the glove hand early with downward chest angles. C - 65 mph
