Physical: Large, hulking 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame with well proportioned strength throughout the build. 7.61 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: LHH. Balanced, slightly open stance with the barrel resting on the shoulder primarily in the setup. Showed short and methodical rhythm in the hands as he worked to launch position coupled with a short and controlled lift and replace stride to initiate the barrel through a violent, slightly uphill path and into the hitting zone. Hits into a stiff front side at impact while turning the barrel around early in the swing creating solid lower half drive and barrel whip through extension. Above average hand speed in the box (21.90 mph per Blast Baseball) showing how quickly he can get into the hitting zone and how efficiently the bat head works towards impact. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 95 mph according to Trackman Baseball while demonstrating a mostly pull-side approach during batting practice / 352 foot maximum batted ball distance and 36% hard hit rate were both standout measurables. Defensively: The primary first baseman featured a medium-high posture on the approach with long strides and a soft glove hand at the fielding window. Chose not to use inside footwork on double play turns but featured a repeatable transfer to the throwing hand ear. Accurate, high ¾ arm-strength on throws across the diamond, showed off average movements in space. INF - 81 mph Pitching: RHP - Started from the middle-left side of the rubber with adequate pace to the delivery, medium leg lift out of a side rocker step, gets directional towards the plate through a strong lower half, whippy / high ¾ slot on the delivery with feel for the strike zone. FB played from 80-82 mph with heaviness into the zone (2050 spin) and mixed in a quality 70-71 mph breaker with 11/5 shape.
