Physical: 6-1, 210 pounds; Long, sturdy build. 7.87 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Lifts hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying low during receiving. Hands are soft while standing up during transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.53-2.58 pop times. C - 70 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly open. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 72-76 MPH; straight action. CB: 64-68 MPH; showed depth.
Physical: Mature, stocky 6-foot-1, 210-pound frame. 7.66 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: RHH. Bent, even stance with upright hands to begin. Utilized a simple toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone. Hard weight-shift over the front foot and turned the barrel for a T88MPH EV (81 AVG). Featured a consistent line-drive approach towards the middle of the field, up to a 50% sweet spot.
Defensively: The primary catcher showed developing actions, as pop times ranged in the mid-2.40’s. Replaced the feet with the exchange at mid-line, up to a 68MPH arm-strength. Varied feel for the pocket.
Pitching: RHP. Slower tempo from center of rubber; pitched into the mid-70’s at T77MPH with heavy stuff. 6FT release height that flashed angle, mixing a loose 57-58MPH CB.
Physical: Advanced, imposing 6-foot, 200lb frame. 8.20 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Upright, narrow stance as the feet set closely, as the hands operated with slight rhythm at the shoulder. Utilized a stretched lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through an uphill path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish on the backside. Recorded a T82 mph bat-exit velocity while living on the barrel for a 38% line drive rate during his round.
Defensively: The backstop demonstrated developing actions behind the plate. Live arm, but took time to get it going. Pop times ranged between 2.50-2.60 with a 68 mph arm-strength from H ¾ slot. Room to see those measurables swindle down over time.
Pitching: RHP - Momentum gaining pace that tilts downward to the bottom of the zone at release (OTT slot). Mixed 74-75 mph FB with lower spin, two-plane 63-65 mph CB, and hard fading 70-72 mph CH.
Physical: Strong, durable 6-foot, 185lb frame. 8.73 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, narrow stance with some pre pitch rhythm by the ear. Utilized a short leg hang stride to initiate the barrel through a flat path into the hitting zone towards a shallow two-handed finish. Arrived to different quadrants on-time working into a stiff front side, and notched a T76 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak (singles power). Recorded a middle of the field, pull-side approach with some feel for the top hand at the plate.
Defensively: The catcher displayed a traditional stance in the crouch with adequate actions on the receive. Pop times ranged from 2.58-2.70 with rounded glove hand movements on the transfer to the throwing ear. Released from a H ¾ slot, using mostly the upper half for a 65 mph arm strength.
Pitching: RHP - The righty set up off the far right side of the rubber turning to a controlled, repeatable operation that attacked north/south in the shoulders. Clean mechanics and strike throwing abilities on a 69-71, T73 mph FB. Mixed a short, lateral 58-59 mph CB and countered with a good 66-68 mph CH (sell, consistent fade, 1680rpms).
