Physical: Projectable, lengthy 6-foot, 190lb frame. 7.65 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance with some bend in the knees. Hands started high at the shoulder to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Stayed mostly upright in the posture and worked consistently inside to the middle of the field. Recorded a T85 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak with some power potential down the road as posture improves. Developing gap to gap approach.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured a soft glove hand on the receive from a traditional stance. Pop times ranged between 2.18-2.24 using solid, replaceable footwork and anticipates the shoulder turn well. Got rid with simple transfers from a H ¾ slot (73 mph) then blocked well to either side of the plate with recovery skills.
