Physical: 5’11 170lb C/3B ran a 7.74 laser timed 60-yard dash. Thin frame has room to add size and strength with time.
Offensively: He starts in a tall narrow stance with the barrel bouncing on his shoulder. He uses a leg kick and swaying hand load to begin his timing mechanism before delivering the barrel into the hitting zone. The barrel pulls through the zone on a downhill path before finishing with one hand around his body.
Defensively: He receives from a traditional squatted stance with his feet close together and allows his glove to stay out in front of his eyes. As he prepares to throw to bases he raises his back side a bit and uses a jump turn to square his body up. His arm works short and whippy and showed good accuracy on his throws.
