Physical: High ceiling, athletic 6-foot-4, 185-pound frame. 6.84 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Natural width in a crouched stance with lower placed hands to begin. Utilized a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing through an adjustable path into the hitting zone. Plenty of launch quickness with ability to shorten the front elbow for length when needed. Recorded a T90MPH EV and tacked on a sac-fly in the first game vs. Team Illinois. Was a winner during the workout day, up to an 82% sweet spot.
Defensively: The shortstop featured choppy, active footwork that played downhill with a soft glove-hand. Quality feel to move laterally, making the backhand rep look easy. Handles the body well for size and operates under control for a mid-80's arm. Smooth actions on the slow roller.
Physical: High ceiling, athletic 6-foot-2, 165lb frame. 7.12 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Crouched, slightly open stance, as the hands operated tall at the shoulder. Utilized a controlled toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone. Some lift at times, but controlled the barrel with adjustability to different quadrants. Posted a T83 mph bat-exit velocity and got leveraged a couple times for loud contact (297 feet).
Defensively: The shortstop featured rangy actions in either direction, showing off an accurate arm across the diamond from a loose, H ¾ slot. There’s projection in the body to stick with 79 mph arm-strength.
Pitching: RHP. Drop/drive from the middle of the rubber, longer arm-swing, and H ¾ slot, as the FB landed from 70-73, T74 mph at a 50% strike rate. Mixed a developing 58-60 mph SL on a lateral tilt.
