Physical: 6-foot-0, 160 pounds; Athletic, lean build. 7.03 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman. Consistently finds the barrel with some pull side power.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands work through the ball while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 80 MPH. Smooth defender with range to either side.
Physical: Longer, wiry athletic frame at 6-foot, 155lbs. 6.95 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Slightly open, spread stance, as the hands operated loosely over the back shoulder. Utilized a controlled leg-hang stride to initiate the swing through a short, flat path into the hitting zone. Accelerated on the ball while working into a stiff front-leg, recording a T92 mph exit velocity via Trackman. Notched a 349 foot distance and produced Team PA’s first run of the tournament on an RBI single.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder featured a hop in the prep-step and downward chest angles at the touch. Funneled off the middle of his body and shuffled towards the target, delivering an accurate 79 mph throw (H ¾).
Physical: Lean, ultra-athletic 6-foot, 150lb frame. 6.99 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wider, crouched stance, as the hands operate from a strong position to hit. Utilized a big leg-kick stride to initiate the swing through a flat, twitchy path into the zone for an extra-base hit approach. Stayed behind the ball well while showing some burst in the lower half; recorded a T92 mph exit velocity via Trackman, up to a 349 foot distance to LCF gap.
Defensively: The shortstop profiles as a middle of the field defender, arriving on time with rhythm to the fielding window and able to change slots effectively at 61 mph across the dirt (H ¾ slot). Made all the plays with clean posture out in front.
Pitching: RHP. Stretch-only from the left corner of the rubber; separates often and delivers a full arm-stroke to the letters with life into the mid-70’s. Crossfire at times, which produces a tough angle into the zone, mixing a shorter 57-59 mph CB (5 inch HM).
Physical: Lanky, projectable 5-foot-11, 145lb body. 7.21 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Loose, balanced stance with some rhythm at the setup. Natural bat-speed that works short to long, barrel finder. Recorded a T84 mph bat-exit velocity during his round with line drive contact when pitched in the middle of the plate. Posted a 50% sweet spot rate.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder demonstrated bounce in the prep step with solid routes in either direction. Bent in the lower half with a tall glove hand, maintaining direction towards the target. Accurate 76 mph arm, more to come.
Pitching: RHP - Begins sideways from the middle of the rubber; high, methodical leg-lift and gets over the front side on time. FB ranged 74-76 mph, countered with horizontal 61-63 mph CB out of the same window. Some fade at times on the CH, 69-71 mph to arm-side.
Physical: Lean, wiry 5-foot-10, 140lb frame with athleticism. 7.13 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Open, offset stance with the front side shoulder staying in over the plate to start. Utilized a lift and replace stride showing some hip-drift into the front side and initiated the swing through a flat path. Recorded a mostly line drive approach working up to an 84 mph bat-exit velocity. Just starting to develop a more extra-base hit type of attack.
Defensively: The primary shortstop displayed a hop in the prep step and tapped the feet with plenty of rhythm on the setup. Arrived on time with some range to his left and notched a 75 mph arm strength across the diamond (75 mph).
