Pitching: RHP. Begins off the left side; slower pace down the mound with a direct arm-stroke to the mitt and more velocity coming. Worked 76-79 mph mostly (1851), running the FB in on righties with a quality 71-72 mph CH diving away out of a similar window.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 155lb frame. 7.59 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Narrow, even stance, as the hands operated straight up and down at the start. Utilized a short leg hang stride with a barrel tip, initiating the swing through a flat path towards a simple two-handed finish on the backside. Stayed relatively taller in the posture throughout, recording a T87 mph bat-exit velocity, more available. Demonstrated a 64% sweet spot rate and worked up to a 308 foot batted ball distance. Raw actions that will continue smoothing out as he matures, solid bat to ball skills.
Defensively: The middle infielder showed the glove hand early on presentation, setting up with a comfortable base and fielding out in front. Accurate footwork and maintained direction to the target. Released from a H ¾ slot, up to 74 mph across the diamond. Some second base appeal.
Pitching: RHP - The righty begins with slower pace from the left side of the mound; crossfire at the land creates deception. The FB landed 77-78 mph with arm-side movement, adding a short sweeping mid-60’s CB and quality 73-75 mph CH, fading back the other way.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 150lb frame with some feel. 7.55 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - The switch-hitter mirrored from both sides of the plate, slightly bent square stance and above-average feel for the barrel. Utilized a lift and replace stride, initiating the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone. Contact hitter with a middle of the order, balanced approach during batting practice. Posted a T80 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak (via Trackman) and recorded a 50% line drive rate with ability to hit for average. Stayed short and inside pitches thrown anywhere in the zone.
Defensively: The primary shortstop moved with a purpose in either direction, ranging with lower posture and an accurate, soft glove hand off the left foot. Fielded cleanly and funneled in rhythm, working right-left downward to the target (77 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - The righty began off the left side of the rubber with adequate pace. Found a calm stack position, moving athletically down the slope into footstrike. Repeated the delivery and finished in-line to the mitt from H ¾ slot. The FB ranged from 76-78 mph with strike throwing abilities.
