Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 74 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while being aggressive. Hands are underneath the body with a clean transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 63 MPH.
Physical: Compact, developing 5-foot-8, 160-pound frame. 4.63 runner in the 30YD.
Offensively: RHH. Open, upright stance, as the hands operate with rhythm. Utilized a toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through a rotational path into the hitting zone. Pull-side approach that features some weight-shift present, working up to a T73MPH EV; 33% LD rate.
Defensively: The primary first baseman displayed adequate feet around the bag with a soft glove-hand. Funneled inward and released for a 68MPH infield arm (H ¾). Maintained pace towards the target.
Pitching: LHP. Stretch-only; medium effort with short/direct slot. Commanded the zone using a 64-67MPH FB and added a mid-50’s CB on an 1/7 tilt.
