Physical: 6-foot-3, 215 pounds; Big, physical frame. 7.02 runner in the 60.
Offensively: Switch hitter. L: Slightly open stance with hands low and loaded, R: Similar setup with hands starting just higher from the right side; L: Uses small stride to for timing as hands work back up to back shoulder on load, R: Uses more of a leg kick for timing and hands work straight back for timing. L: Efficient movements to get into swing, R:Leg kick makes his lower half more explosive through the swing with L: Hands quick to the ball, good barrel awareness, uphill after point of contact, R: Flat bat path to the ball that works slightly uphill at finish; 15 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Perich is able to produce 8.2 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 53%. L: Lets the ball get deep and shoots it to oppo gap, R: Bat speed generated by quick hands creates pullside power, hard contact consistently; average Trackman exit velocity of 92.22 MPH; peak exit velo was R-103 L-97 MPH.
Defensively: Upright setup; Smooth, deliberate footwork getting to and working through the ball. ; Long arm swing with a 3/4 slot, plenty of arm strength to play SS or a corner position. INF - 87 MPH.
Physical: 6-foot-3, 215-pounds. Strong, physical frame. 7.11 runner in the 60; 4.28 home-to-1B.
Offensively: S. R: Athletic, open stance with hands level with shoulders, uses a medium stride for timing, L: A little more crouched, similar stance with a smaller timing stride R: Generates loft with an uphill swing plane, quick bat, L: Swing is flatter to the ball and still finishes high. R: Hard contact up the middle, L: More pull side contact. 97 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Starts upright and uses consistent footwork to get around the ball, smooth hands, funnels the ball into his stomach, gets rid of the ball quickly. Short arm swing with a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 82 MPH.
6-foot-3, 215-pound switch-hitter delivered a standout day. The left-handed hitter utilized a leg hang from a slightly-open stance to initiate his swing. He consistently drove the ball with backspin to the gap and registered an impressive 92 mph bat-exit-velocity. The righty uses the same load and step as his left-side. Although not as strong as his left, he still demonstrated the ability to find consistent barrels and show balance throughout his right-handed swing. Moved very well for his size during defensive evaluations using smooth, calculated steps and soft hands to gain momentum towards his target. Generated power with his strong lower-half registering throws of 87 mph across the infield. His 7.52 60-yard dash shows his natural feel for his frame. Right-handed pitcher pounded the zone with 81-84 mph fastballs featuring small arm-side-run from a balanced, high 3/4 arm-slot. Perich's 71-73 mph curveball showed short, slider like action with adequate arm-speed.
