L: Efficient movements to get into swing, R:Leg kick makes his lower half more explosive through the swing with L: Hands quick to the ball, good barrel awareness, uphill after point of contact, R: Flat bat path to the ball that works slightly uphill at finish; 15 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Perich is able to produce 8.2 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 53%. 6-foot-3, 215-pound switch-hitter delivered a standout day. The left-handed hitter utilized a leg hang from a slightly-open stance to initiate his swing. He consistently drove the ball with backspin to the gap and registered an impressive 92 mph bat-exit-velocity. The righty uses the same load and step as his left-side. Although not as strong as his left, he still demonstrated the ability to find consistent barrels and show balance throughout his right-handed swing. Moved very well for his size during defensive evaluations using smooth, calculated steps and soft hands to gain momentum towards his target. Generated power with his strong lower-half registering throws of 87 mph across the infield. His 7.52 60-yard dash shows his natural feel for his frame. Right-handed pitcher pounded the zone with 81-84 mph fastballs featuring small arm-side-run from a balanced, high 3/4 arm-slot. Perich's 71-73 mph curveball showed short, slider like action with adequate arm-speed.
