Physical: Lean / athletic 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame with advanced feel for his body in all phases of the game. 6.96 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance with a slight bend in the knees as the hands started loose on the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a move to the shoulder coupled with a leg-hang stride to create stretch upon land and initiate the hands through a flat barrel path with lift after contact. Showcased advanced feel for the barrel in the box while hitting into a stiff and adjustable front side. Athletic lower half allowed the hands to match plane early and often in the swing and could stay back on offspeed pitches. Showed a short time to contact with long levers creating lots of leverage at impact and backspin on balls hit to the LCF gap. Impressed during batting practice with a 20.10 mph peak hand speed per Blast Motion and a top bat-exit velocity of 89 mph according to Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder featured advanced movements in the middle of the field with a low center of gravity. Got downhill through the fielding window generating plenty of momentum towards the target after fielding, approached the ball off of the left side of his body with ability to make the play on the run with ease. Accurate, high ¾ slot across the diamond with quickness from a medium arm circle / ride and carry towards the target. Should definitely stick at SS moving forward impacting the game on the defensive side of the ball. INF - 87 mph
