5-foot-9, 185-pound switch-hitter showcased similar swings from both sides of the plate in batting practice. A wide, square stance with a heel raise stride and a middle of the field approach led to consistent solid contact from both sides in batting practice. Registered an 86 mph bat exit velocity and went 4-for-4 with a double, with two hits from each side of the plate, on day one. Above average defender behind the dish was impressive in game action funneling the baseball to the plate and creating a soft wall when blocking. Threw out only runner attempting to steal and flashed pop times of 2.07-2.14 on throws of 74 mph from the crouch during evaluations.
5-foot-9, 185-pound switch-hitter showed off the same identical swing from both sides of the plate as he registered an 85 mph bat-exit-velocity. He starts with a square stance and utilizes a heel-raise to initiate his swing. Verbonitz' strong lower half helps him extend through the ball from both sides of the plate. Used good footwork to notch top pop times of 2.06 on accurate throws of 70 mph from the crouch. Showcased a soft wall while blocking, but will need to improve his receiving skills to become an all-around solid catcher. Ran an 8.26 60-yard dash.
5-foot-8, 175-pound switch-hitter displayed similar swing from both sides of the plate with a bat exit velocity of 84 mph. Starts his swing with a slightly open stance and uses a leg-hang stride to begin. Showed a lower hand-load position from the left side of the plate with some barrel drag. Demonstrated a feel for the barrel while consistently barreling the baseball from both sides. Sound defender handle pitchers well in his bullpen sessions and presents a soft wall when blocking. Showcased pop times of 2.21-2.31 on throws of 65 mph from the crouch.
