Physical: Strong, compact frame (5-foot-9, 190lbs) with above-average athleticism and feel for his body; big time gamer (6.92 runner in the 60-yard dash).
Offensively: RHH - Flashed top of the order abilities with immense confidence at the plate; started from a crouched, balanced stance with the chest leaning slightly over the plate as the hands bounce with rhythm off the shoulder. Utilized a controlled leg lift while holding balance over the backside in order to initiate from a strong, powerful launch through a flat path. Mostly middle/LCF approach during batting practice and can lift on pitches out over the plate. Carried tons of momentum into game action where he impressed with hard contact all over the field. Just watched him dominate at the MSI Tournament on the summer scene with loud extra-base hits to the LF wall. Mature hitter with knowledge of how to attack pitchers in the box (88 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball).
Defensively: The primary middle infielder operates smoothly from a low base with range in either direction. Actions play extremely well at 2B where he could be an impact defender at the next level. Energy giver who always seems to be in the right place at the right time, handling plays on the run with ease from multiple slots. Accurate, high ¾ arm strength across the diamond with ability to get short and quicker at times (77 mph arm).
Physical: 5-foot-9, 190LBS. 6.73SEC 60-Yard Dash.
Offensively: Begins with feet slightly wider than shoulder width and bend in the knees. Barrel rests right above the shoulder. Weight rocks into the rear leg and goes into a leg kick. Hands are short to contact and the bat is quick. Slightly downhill barrel path with a high finish.
Defensively: Uses a hop as a prep step and works into a wide base. Maintains a low chest angle and moves on the balls of feet. Feet are active and quick. Fields ball out in front and funnels to belt line. Arm circle is quick and releases from a low 3/4 arm slot.
