Showcased a long and lean 5-foot-9, 140-pound frame with feel for his body and room to fill out as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a controlled knee-knock stride with some choppiness to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Generated some pull-side lift with some length in the swing allowing for occasional scooping action at contact. Fluidity in the lower half allowed for some barrel whip evidenced by a 79 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash showing off the athleticism he possesses. The primary backstop featured average receiving skills with small glove hand movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.20-2.31 on accurate throws of 68 mph out of a short, high ¾ arm-slot. Quick footwork and smooth transfers set up repeatable throws, but backside pulled off early losing some strength on the arm velocity. Displayed adequate blocking technique behind the dish with soft walls and downward chest angles flashing some bounce out of the crouch to recover quickly.
