Physical: 6-foot-0, 160 pounds; Lean, athletic build. 7.11 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a flat swing path with a high finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while active feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 75 MPH.
Pitching: Bucy uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing without restrictions, while working through a high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 71 MPH, while sitting 67-70 MPH; arm side run. CB: 54-55 MPH; showed depth.
