Aruta is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound 3B/RHP from Pleasant Valley HS. He hit .500 with a .600 on base percentage as a sophomore.

9/22/13 Aruta showcased a flat bat path through the hitting zone and the ability to utilize all fields with a bat exit velocity of 74 mph. The lefty has displayed the ability to be a successful top of the order hitter at the high school level. Aruta also displayed the ability to play through the baseball with accurate throws of 76 mph across the diamond. The 5-foot-10, 155-pound prospect showed a soft glove hand and straight line carry on throws from 3B. Aruta gave up one hit over two innings of work on the mound at Lehigh University. He sat 75-77 out of a high 3/4 arm slot while commanding a 67 mph curveball. Aruta struck out two hitters and pounded the strike zone.

9/8/13 Aruta is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound right handed hitter that hits from an open stance with a high hands load. He strides to closed and creates barrel whip with solid lower half action. Aruta showed the ability to play through the baseball and solid carry on throws of 76 mph across the diamond. He went 2-for-4 in game action at Misericordia University while squaring the baseball in his other two at bats.
