Physical: Long, projectable 6-foot, 160-pound frame. 6.98 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: LHH. Narrow/taller stance, as he starts open. Utilized a directional leg-lift stride that holds coil against to initiate his swing through a flat path into the hitting zone. Repeated extremely well from the box and matched plane, up to a T86MPH EV. Stayed on the sweet spot (60%) for a middle of the field, line-drive approach.
Defensively: The primary OF played from behind the ball with direct footwork, softening the glove-hand at the touch. Set the body towards the target and reached back for an accurate 78MPH arm-strength out of a H ¾ slot.
Physical: Long, slender 6-foot, 160lb build with ATH. 7.11 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: LHH. Taller, wide stance, as the barrel connects to the forearm. Utilized a simple toe-tap stride in rhythm with a timing backload, initiating his swing through a flat path into the hitting zone. Plenty of feel for the contact skillset; recorded a T88MPH EV and 55% sweet spot. Budding power to pull-side (293FT).
Defensively: The primary outfielder worked aggressively downhill with a soft glove-hand off the right side. Fielded cleanly from a quick transfer, up to 78MPH positionally (H ¾). Measurables should keep improving.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 155 pounds; Long, lean build. 7.54 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 80 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 74 MPH.
Physical: 5-foot-7, 135 pounds; Lean, average build. 7.5 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet narrow; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a downward swing path with a finish around the back. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 77 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while aggressive. Hands work through the ball while standing up during transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 74 MPH.
Pitching: Birch uses an arm side setup while using an angled drop step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B, while working through a standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 72 MPH, while sitting 68-71 MPH; arm side run with sink. CB: 61-62 MPH; early action. CH: 60-63 MPH; sinks.
Physical: Lean 5-foot-5, 120-pound frame / 7.58 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: LHH. Tall, even stance with minor rhythm in the hands starting on the shoulder with the barrel pointed straight back. Utilized a repeatable lift and replace stride in order to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Feel for the hands in the box while hitting into a stiff front side, line drive approach towards the middle of the field. Was able to be adjustable in the box getting on top of the pitch up in the zone and lifting pitches down at the knees. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 74 mph according to Trackman Baseball during batting practice. Defensively: The primary outfielder featured short and quick movements during defensive evaluations with ability to stay behind the ball in the air, got downhill through the baseball when need be while fielding off of the right foot on the approach, adequate transfers and an accurate, high ¾ arm-slot on throws towards the plate. OF - 67 mph Pitching: LHP - Started from the middle-left side of the rubber with a side rocker step, moderate pace throughout, repeatable delivery while landing with a low center of gravity over the front side, high ¾ arm-slot on the release. FB peaked at 67 mph with small arm side run to it, mixed in a developing 55-57 mph breaker.
Physical: 5-foot-5, 120 pounds; lean, wiry. 7.62 runner in the 60. Offensively: LHH. Even shoulder width with flat bat; hands stay near shoulder, even moderate length stride. aggressive, stays behind the ball with lift in swing, can backspin balls. Consistent hard contact to pull side; peak Trackman exit velocity of 73 MPH. Defensively: Low to the ground; aggressive choppy approach; fields through the ball & finishes throws. delay in transfer; high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 68 MPH. Pitching: Arm side set up; knee to belt on-line stride, comes across his body in finish. arm stays in line, high 3/4 slot. FB: T 67MPH, 63-66 MPH. FB showed some cutting action. CB: 55-56 MPH. CB had 12-6 shape.
5-foot-4, 110-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Gets on plane early and showed a gap-to-gap approach. Registered a bat exit velocity of 67 mph and ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Played through the baseball consistently in the outfield with accurate 67 mph arm strength. The lefty sat 62-64 on the mound out of a high 3/4 arm slot with some natural cut to his fastball. Showed a feel for his curveball with 1/7 rotation at 54-55. Changeup at 56-58 is thrown at near fastball arm speed.
