Leadoff man Trevon Dabney impressed with his strong defense at the hot corner, as well as his ability to put the bat on the ball. Listed in the preseason as a potential starter in left field, the redshirt junior stood out at third base and was one of the top athletes and ballplayers on the field for the Dukes. The right handed hitter finished the series 4-for-12 with a double, three walks and a stolen base.
