Physical: Stocky, strong 5-foot-10, 165lb frame with durability. 8.12 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Upright, higher postured start with the hands close to the body by the ear. Utilized a leg lift stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel into the hitting zone with intent to lift after impact. Created natural weight-shift at the front of the plate, sometimes stepping through the plate on the finish. Recorded a T80 mph bat-exit velocity with a middle of the field approach during his round. Created backspin for distance from gap to gap up to a near 270 foot distance (46% fly ball rate via Trackman).
Defensively: The primary backstop featured a narrow, traditional stance on the receive. Drug the ball from low to high into the zone and pop times ranged from 2.26-2.33 with efficient footwork, getting grounded after setting himself in-line. Drove properly into a stiff front side from a H ¾ slot (69 mph arm, short arm circle).
Physical: 5-foot-9, 165 pounds; Athletic, proportional build. 7.77 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a one-handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 80 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; while plays low to the ground. Hands work through the ball with a clean transfer. Short take back from a high/over the top arm slot. 2.10-2.16 pop times. C - 69 MPH.
