Body: 5’9’’, 155 pounds. Strong, athletic body type.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, open stance with a quiet, smooth knee-to-knee load and short stride. Short to the ball with quick hands and generates fast bat speed through the zone with a level swing path. Stays behind the ball well with excellent balance and some lower half involvement. Long one-handed finish. Showed a really nice gap-to-gap line drive approach during BP.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity per TrackMan during BP. Gap-to-gap pop.
Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a mid to high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Plays quick and moves athletically. Works through the ball fielding it deeper into the body. Showed quick, clean exchanges and the ability to throw from lower slots based on the type of play.
Run: 6.88 60-yard time.
5-foot-8, 145-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed balance throughout with a short, line drive swing path and a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 6.75 60-yard dash. Showcased active feet and a quick release defensively with 74 mph arm strength across the diamond. Solid all-around skill set with the foot speed to also make a move to the outfield at the next level.
