Physical: 6-2, 190 pounds; Long, slight build. 7.69 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 88 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 79 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while stabbing downward; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 78-79 MPH; arm side run. SL: 63-66 MPH; slurve like. CH: 69-70 MPH; fading action.
Physical: Strong, projectable 6-foot-2, 190-pound build. 8.16 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: RHH. Crouched, slightly open stance with higher hands to begin. Utilized a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing through a simple, flat path into the hitting zone. Drove the ball into the air often (46% FB rate) with backspin off the bat and a T83MPH EV via Trackman. Recorded a mostly pull-side approach.
Defensively: The SS flashed adequate movements, circling with a soft funnel. Able to throw from a couple different slots, up to 74MPH across the INF. Spun the double play with natural angles + confidence.
Pitching: RHP. Worked from slow-to-quick down the mound, getting over the front side at 80-82MPH. Ran the FB into RH batters and mixed a hard-sweeping 67-69MPH CB; 20 in. HM. Tacked on a killed mid-70’s CH, as well with some fade.
