Physical: Athletic 5-foot-10, 175lb frame with even proportions; ran a 6.91 60-yard dash pointing towards potential top of the order abilities moving forward.
Offensively: RHH - Loose, slightly open stance with the hands starting just above the shoulder, utilized a lift and replace stride with some weight shift into the front side at impact. The barrel operated through a flat path generating good lift when on time; notched a peak batted ball distance of 320 feet on a pull side laser down the LF line, giving way to a 91 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball. Able to keep his balance and weight in the middle of his body during the forward move, helping him stay on the offspeed pitch too in game.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured quick, accurate footwork that played with tempo to the baseball, the glove hand showed early and out in front, funneling into the body at belt height. Clean exchange and short, quick high ¾ slot across the diamond with a fast trigger (81 mph).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the left side of the rubber with gradual/gaining pace throughout the delivery. Slow, short side rocker into a moderate paced leg lift at waist height, working fast down the mound in a connected action through release (high ¾, repeatable). FB flashed 77-79 mph to glove side primarily at the bottom of the zone, mixing a 69-73 mph SL off the same tunnel. Throws with confidence and manipulates shape on occasion for strikeouts.
