Physical: Proportional, compact 5-foot-10, 190lb frame with rotational strength. 7.94 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, shoulder-width stance, as the hands operated in rhythm off the backside. Utilized a short lift and replace stride down to the toe, before grabbing the ground with the heel. Initiate the swing through a slightly uphill path towards a high two-handed finish, resulting in some loft in the approach. Hit into a stiff, blocked off front-side and recorded a T86 mph bat-exit velocity, 80 mph AVG. Barrel skills evident and feel to turn on the ball to the pull-side. Notched a 57% sweet spot rate during his round.
Defensively: The backstop featured a traditional setup in the crouch, working thumb up through the pitch. Pop times ranged from 2.11-2.18 with replaceable feet and good forward tilt at release (H ¾ slot, 74 mph arm). Ability to block stands out, using gear to get active over the ball.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 175 pounds; Sturdy, broad shouldered build. 7.65 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Drops hands on the way back with a toe-tap for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a downward swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 83 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; static during pre-pitch while stays low while receiving. Hands work through the ball while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.12-2.21 pop times. C - 73 MPH.
Physical: Compact, strong/durable 5-foot-9, 172lb frame and 7.86 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Bent, open stance with the hands starting at a high position to start; utilized a leg kick with some stretch out towards the pitcher, driving through a slightly uphill path while flashing some rotation into impact. Posted a mostly pull-side approach to the LCF side, adding a T83 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman Baseball. Notched a 60% fly ball rate creating backspin towards the middle of the field and a near 300 foot batted ball distance during his round.
Defensively: The primary backstop demonstrated adequate receiving abilities from a wider left-knee-down position. Pop times ranged from 2.20-2.30 using direct, in-line footwork to the target with some fluidity in the transfers to H ¾ (73 mph arm).
Physical: 5-foot-9, 163LBS. 8.24SEC 60-Yard Dash.
Offensively: RHH. Open stance and barrel resting on the shoulder pointing slightly down. Hands go up as the barrel whips, then go back as they work into a load position. Simultaneously the lead leg strides back towards the big part of the field. Slightly downhill bat path. Two handed finish.
Defensively: Primary C. Receives out of a two knee up stance that is somewhat narrow. Pops up into a secondary stance and has weight in the heels. Limited movement prior to catch. Throw up the ear transfer as the upper body stays tall throughout the throwing process.
