Physical: 6-foot-0, 195 pounds; Proportional, full build. 8.16 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Lifts hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a limited effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 81 MPH via Trackman. Displayed a consistent line drive approach.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while sitting back. Hands are off to the side with a delay in transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 80 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 79 MPH, while sitting 76-79 MPH; straight action. CB: 63-65 MPH; 1-7 shape. SL: 68 MPH; lateral action. Good feel for breaking pitches on both sides of the plate.
Physical: Wide-shouldered, durable 6-foot, 190lb build. 8.48 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Forward-leaning, even stance, as he starts with a high back elbow. Utilized a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat path towards a balanced finish. Some tilt over the rear-side after impact, allowing for a pull-side approach during BP. Recorded a T81 mph exit velocity and 75% barrel rate via Trackman. Consistent line-drives off the bat.
Defensively: The outfielder played from behind the ball, using average pace to field over the left side. Gathered the body and crow-hopped before releasing up to 74 mph from his position (H ¾ slot). Developing range at times with shallow angles.
Pitching: RHP. Starts off the middle of the rubber; quick, compact delivery that repeats early. Occasional finish towards the first-base line and strikes on a 75-76 mph FB. Mixed a short, commanded low-60’s CB, adding a 71-72 mph straight-CH to round out the arsenal.
