Physical: Projectable, even proportioned 6-foot, 175lb frame with athleticism in the movements. 7.46 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Open, slightly bent stance with the hands bouncing in rhythm off the shoulder to start; utilized a short lift and replace stride to just outside shoulder-width allowing for a flat, rotational launch with lots of lower half involvement into the hitting zone. Highly-efficient movements and found success to the pull-side during his batting practice round. Posted an impressive 60% line drive rate via Trackman and notched a T91 mph bat-exit velocity with middle of the order consideration. An average of 70+ mph bat-speed should allude to the ability to handle velocity at the next level.
Defensively: The outfielder featured advanced movements in space, approaching the ball with above-average pace and quick downhill footwork. Fielded gracefully off the right shoulder in the air/right foot on the ground with a fast release (one step and out of the hand from a high ¾ slot; 84 mph arm). Can find a home at a corner OF position with natural feel for the first step, reading it well off the bat.
Pitching: LHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber coming set at a slightly closed position; utilized a medium leg lift with some hip coil at the top of the stack, working down the mound on time with pace into footstrike. Athletic actions on the hill and repeated well through a high ¾ slot on all offerings. FB sat 79-81 mph with consistent arm-side run in on LHH, held arm-side with confidence and pounded the zone for strikes. Added a sharp-biting 65-67 mph SL with two-plane, 1/7 tilt for swing/miss when in the zone, and later countered with a fading 70-71 mph CH at 1323rpms and -8 inches of HM.
Physical: Athletic 6-foot, 175-pound frame with strength throughout. 7.83 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Balanced, slightly open stance utilizing a leg lift to initiate the hands through a slightly uphill barrel path and into the hitting zone. Generated above-average rotational power (24.4 G’s of rotational acceleration) showcasing an interesting power ceiling down the line. Repeatedly peppered the RCF gap with hard pull-side contact while delivering the top hand with increased accuracy. Recorded an 89 mph peak bat exit velocity per Trackman Baseball while notching an efficient 27% line drive rate / 55% fly ball. Room for additional bat speed down the line which will greatly improve all measurables.
Defensively: The primary OF featured impressive defensive abilities while getting downhill towards the target with the chest angle early in routes. Repeatedly played through the baseball allowing for quality arm strength on accurate throws towards the plate (82 mph) which points to a LF spot most likely at the next level. If the footspeed continues improving, you’re looking at the ability to handle two, if not three outfield positions at the next level.
Pitching: LHP - Worked from the stretch only with slight hip coil at the top of the stack. Traditional leg lift and solid back side drive towards the plate, high ¾ release. FB showed increased accuracy in the zone (60% strike rate) with up to -15.8 inches of HM to the arm-side. Dropped a developing 63-64 mph CB showing occasional bullet-spin at the moment (-2.2 inches IVB, 3.2 inches HM max). A 67-69 mph CH looks to be a solid pairing with the FB getting up to -15.5 inches of HM with ability to kill spin (1549 RPM average).
