Recorded a T86 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak with heavy lower half involvement into impact. Future middle of the order type as he progresses.
Defensively: The third baseman started from a wider base, using a hop in the prep step to approach and present the glove hand on-time in front of the toes. Funneled properly into the waistline, shuffling right-left with hip-shoulder separation from H ¾ slot across the diamond (79 mph arm, carry).
Pitching: RHP - The hard-throwing righty set up from the center of the mound operating from the stretch-only. Used a higher stack position and “drop/drive” delivery down the slope, releasing from a repeatable OTT slot with heavy action into the mitt. The FB ranged from 78-80 mph, disappearing at the knees and mixed a sweeping 63-66 mph CB with developing shape.
