Physical: Lean and sturdy 6-foot-1, 195lb frame. 7.11 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: RHH. Simplified approach remains tall with feet just outside shoulder width apart. Loads with a barrel curl strongly slotted behind his head. Mid-70s bat speed with impressive acceleration of the bat head. Showed fairly consistent power.
Defensively: The primary first baseman fielded out front with firmer hands and clean transfers. Slings from a low ¾ to sidearm slot at 83MPH.
Physical: Advanced 6-foot-1, 195lb frame with raw strength. 7.62 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, imposing setup at shoulder-width, as the hands operated with quick rhythm. Utilized a stretched leg-kick stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Some barrel-whip present, allowing for hard contact towards the pull-side of the field. Transferred energy into a thick lead leg for a T96 mph exit velocity and 340 foot distance; XBH approach.
Defensively: The primary first baseman featured adequate feel around the bag. Flashed occasional, choppy footwork at times and reached from the base using moderate posture. Shifted the hips across his body for an 84 mph arm-strength out of a H ¾ slot.
Physical: XL, above-average 6-foot-1, 200lb build; powerful. 7.40 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Lower hand-set under the shoulder from a wider, strong base. Utilized a quick, compact move into the hitting zone with an uphill approach towards a violent two-handed finish. Recorded a 100 mph exit velocity via Trackman and started/stopped in a tight window allowing for heavy contact to all fields. Carried power to the big part of the yard into game action up to a 340+ foot distance; was one of the top performers offensively.
Defensively: The first baseman demonstrated choppy footwork while fielding off the middle of his body. Chopped before settling down into a simple base, moderately soft hands at the toes. Notched an 85 mph arm strength across the diamond.
Pitching: RHP. The righty showed off momentum building pace from the center-cut of the rubber. Swung the leg upwards, rotating with hip/shoulder separation into footstrike, H ¾ slot. Mixed T83 mph FB at 2200+rpms and developing upper-60’s breaker. A quality 74-76 mph CH faded back away from lefties in advantage counts.
Physical: 6-foot-1, 205 pounds; Full, proportional build. 7.45 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a finish around the back. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 86 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 81-82 MPH; arm side run. CB: 65-70 MPH; early action. CH: 75-78 MPH; fading action.
Physical: Strong/durable 6-foot-1, 205lb frame with connection in the lower half. 7.56 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Even, slightly bent stance with the hands low at the shoulder to start. Utilized a lift and replace stride getting stretched out towards the pitcher creating good separation through a flat path into the hitting zone. Liked to get the hands extended using a quick, high effort turn into the slot, pulling the baseball hard to the LF side during his batting practice round. Worked up to a T85 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman while notching a 75% fly ball rate, backspinning the ball with consistency/carry through the middle of the field. Posted a 305 foot batted ball distance with more available.
Defensively: The primary third baseman featured average pace as the feet chopped early in the route. Approached on time at a wide, shoulder-width base and scooped cleanly into the chest with a soft glove hand. Moved well to his left and used a glove tap before releasing from H ¾ slot with a moderate takeaway (83 mph arm, carry, accurate).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle of the rubber with a medium side rocker into a balanced stack position with noticeable hip coil. Worked downhill into footstrike releasing at a H ¾ tilt into the zone (FB ranged 77-79 mph, 2077rpms AVG, and 41% zone rate via Trackman). Mixed a gradual 63-65 mph curveball at an 11/5 tilt for occasional strikes.
Physical: The 6’1 185 lb 3B/RHP ran a 7.68 laser timed 60-yard dash. Strong physical frame has the ability to embrace quick movements on both sides of the ball.
Offensively: Starts in a relaxed stance and loads into a more crouched and athletic position. Maintains a tight turn with a slight uppercut bat path.
Defensively: Does not do anything fance, keeps it simple when moving to the ball. After catching the ball he gathers himself, creates momentum with a small crow hop, and gets the entire body into the throw.
Pitching. Works slow and controlled through the windup, has a slight coil in his lower body. Works his body towards the left handers batters box. Works 4 pitches into his repertoire, FB,CV,SL,CH.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 185 pounds; strong, athletic build. 8.08 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Tall, open stance; Big stride, closing himself off. Aggressive with Flat path to the ball, finishes on an uphill plane. Hard pull side contact; peak Trackman exit velocity of 89 MPH.
Defensively: Upright with a wide base; Controlled footwork, flat back and hands out in front. Smooth hands, clean transfer; Long arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot. INF - 77 MPH.
Pitching: Sets up in the middle of the rubber, simple mechanics with a leg lift to his waist and strides directly to home plate. Stabs back, medium arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot. FB: Peak velo of 79 MPH, while sitting 78-79 MPH. Heavy arm side run. SL: 69-70 MPH. Two-plane break. CH: 73-74 MPH. Late fade.
5-foot-11, 179-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Showcased a feel for the barrel from a deep load position while getting on plane early. Registered a bat exit velocity of 81 mph and ran a 7.89 60-yard dash. The right-handed pitcher sat 74-76 from a low 3/4 arm slot working solely out of the stretch. Curveball at 61-62 showed short horizontal break while slider at 64-65 showed similar plane. Changeup at 64-66 was thrown at near fastball arm speed.
