Physical: Twitchy, highly athletic 5-foot-10, 155lb frame with impact footspeed. 6.69 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance with an upright posture, as the hands operated low at the shoulder. Utilized a leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a fluid, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Good top hand control with adjustability in the lower half, able to match plane on the ball down low at the knees. Recorded a 94 mph bat-exit velocity with a 70% sweet spot, carrying confidence into game play. A 306 foot batted ball distance bodes well as he continues developing extra-base hit juice at the plate.
Defensively: The primary shortstop demonstrated up-tempo footwork and gained ground on the ball with a downward facing back at the fielding window. Funneled smoothly inward and recorded an 88 mph arm-strength on a bullet across the diamond at head height. Quick first couple steps and ranges very well with banana routes.
