Jake Latek: RHP/3B, (2022) LaSalle Academy, RI. 6-foot, 165-pound athletic lean build. Solid on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Tall balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands open with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 76-77 mph; showed running action and control around the zone arm side. Has sweeping action and glove side control on his 10/4 curveball (63-64). Showed arm side control and gradual fading action on his changeup (68-70).

Pitching: Solid. up-tempo delivery, some effort. high ¾ arm angle, developing arm speed, loose arm action. Consistent balance point, falling off shoulders, lands open, a falling off finish.
FB: T77. 76-77 mph. Around the zone arm side accuracy, running action.
CB: 63-64 mph. Glove side control, sweeping action, 10/4 movement.
CH: 68-70 mph. Arm side command, gradual fading action.
6-foot, 165-pound long lean frame. Raw in the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 91 mph. (63.53 mph bat speed average). (22.36 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced tall stance with a tight choppy load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was raw, used a short swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with a lot of loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph; had a clean natural exchange, choppy consistent footwork, and consistent hands. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a compact arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 7.44 at the event.
