6-foot, 171-pound, average athletic frame, squared off shoulders, well proportioned athlete. A left-handed hitting two-way player. At the plate, the hands really work, balanced approach, with an all fields approach. The feet are even, hands are set slightly below shoulders, relaxed, are back on foot strike. The swing path is level through the zone, path is straight to the baseball, gets through it, solid bat to ball skills. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 80 mph, with a ton more in there. Ran a 7.62 sixty-yard dash, moves quicker than times display. Defensively, threw 73 mph across the diamond. Works off the bag quick and smooth, showed a soft glove on picks. Off the mound, more of a hybrid start, higher athletic lift, slight coil, gets loaded up on the back leg. Clean separation, direction is inline, gets on top and stays behind the baseball, pitching downhill. The arm is clean, working from a higher slot. the fastball was clocked 75 mph, down in zone. The breaking ball showing proper spin and tilt, clocked at 59-62. Threw a true changeup, turning it over, clocked at 67-71 mph. Love the bat, look for him to hit, can really maneuver the barrel to baseball.
