Quinn Murphy: OF, (2024) Barrington, RI. Maine Commit, 6-foot-1, 190-pound athletic projectable build. Projectable in the box, Murphy had an exit velocity of 94 mph. (65.2 mph bat speed average). (18.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, showed a simple loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable and athletic in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 83 mph; had soft developing hands, a natural exchange, and athletic consistent footwork. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.14.
Quinn Murphy: OF/LHP, (2024) Barrington, RI. 6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic build. (64.9 mph bat speed average). (20.8 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a toe tap stride. Bat speed is electric, displays a short uphill swing plane and high finish. He produced a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Capable advanced in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 81 mph; has smooth consistent feet, a clean natural exchange, and next level hands. Fielded the ball to the side with athletic movement laterally. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with uninterrupted slot and a short very quick arm action. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.82.

Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Had a simple flat swing plane and a good extension on his finish. Gap to gap approach. From the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 77 mph; showed consistent smooth feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Has a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.39.

5-foot-10, 135-pound, average athletic frame, showing wiry strength throughout, room for added weight gains. A left-handed hitter, also workout off the mound. At the plate, the stance is balanced, wider even feet. The hands are set at the shoulders, are back on foot strike, slight wrap of hands with grip, could loosen. The swing is fluid through the zone, a level to up path. The approach is from field to field, had an exit velocity of 77 mph and ran a 7.62 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, from the outfield, the approach was under control, used a shuffle for the transfer. The arm action is longer and clean on the backside, working from a natural 3/4 slot, clocked at 69 mph. Off the mound, starting from more of a hybrid start, lift is athletic with coil to it, stride is inline, front side needs to track longer to plate, glove side comes off. The arm action is long and smooth, baseball comes out of, clocked at 69 mph, with a ton more in there. The breaking ball showed proper spin, needs more hand speed to it, clocked at 61 mph. Mixed in a true change up, arm side fade action to it.
