Body: 5-foot-8, 175-pound sturdy frame
Hit: Starts in a wide stance with a smooth load from a higher hand set, then uses a toe tap to start his swing. Some bat speed. Used the whole field during BP. Good feel for the barrel, quick hands.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity. Line drive approach.
Defense: Catcher, Developing footwork, lengthy exchange. Athletic setup with some flexibility. Developing footwork, lengthy exchange.
Arm: 68 Catcher Velocity. 2.09-2.21 pop times. Short arm action, an-over-the-top slot,consistent accuracy.
Speed: 7.72
Physical Profile/Body - 5-8, 175lbs Medium sized frame with broad shoulders and good strength throughout. Limited projection remaining.
Hit - Balanced set up with a higher hand set. Simple load with a medium/long stride length and short leg lift. Barrel works down hill onto plane before flattening out through contact. Good feel for the barrel using a slightly pull side approach.
Power - 82 mph exit velocity (tee). Low line drive, hard ground ball contact.
Running/Speed - 4.08 home/first.
Glove - Solid avg. glove skill consistent exchanges on throw downs with avg. hand speed. Some bend in the hips, occasional head movement present. Block and recover skill is there, additional development needed to maximize athleticism.

Summary - Jennings is a solid C in the 2021 class. The medium/small build has good present strength and may offer some future development in spots, but will limit the ceiling. He showed off consistent barrel awareness and hard line drive/ground ball contact in BP. He averaged over 85 mph exit velo in 3 separate quadrants during his BP round via Trackman. A solid defender he showed consistent carry and accuracy on his throws to 2B.
