Physical: 6-foot-0, 155 pounds; Proportional, slight build.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 86 MPH, while sitting 83 - 86 MPH; life through the zone. CB: 76 MPH; late action. SL: 75 - 76 MPH; short action. CH: 76 - 79 MPH; fading action. Showed above average spin rates on the FB and breaking pitches. Curveball showed good downward action.
Pitching: Starts on left side of the mound, drives the knee above the belt with a big turn before striding down and across the mound for cross fire action and finishing against a strong front side. Arm drops straight down behind the body hiding the ball before getting to a low 34/ slot (4'3" release height)
FB: Life and ride through the zone with 20" IVB. CB: High spin, slurvy action flashing depth with up to 11" of drop 17" horizontal movement. CH: Deads the spin with some arm side fade.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 145 pounds; compact, twitchy frame. 7.73 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Very wide stance with some weight pre-loaded on back leg with low hands; shifts weight even further on back leg, works the hands back toward the catcher in part of his timing process. Average use of the lower half, leaves leg load prematurely but blocks off a firm front leg with bars out front arm on the load, but does pull his hands back in tight to his body upon swing. HIt the ball up the middle and the other way with ease, displayed easy bat to ball skills; peak Trackman exit velocity of 77 MPH.
Defensively: Slightly bent at the waist and knees, keeps weight on the toes; Moves well to the ball and takes a direct route to it. Soft hands that field easily into a clean transfer; Low slot with loose actions in the arm, low effort . INF - 69 MPH.
Pitching: Methodical delivery that works to a balance point on leg lift, easy down the slope. Loose, easy actions in the arm through a 3/4 slot. FB: Peak velo of 73 MPH, while sitting 72-73 MPH. Located the fastball well, low effort arm that has room to increase velo. CB: 51-53 MPH. Threw a tall, slow breaking ball that could be thrown in early counts as a "get me over" pitch. CH: 57-58 MPH. Displayed a CH with good difference in speed off the FB to keep hitters off balance.
