Physical Profile/Projection: 5-9, 155lbs. Has picked up some additional functional strength and mass over the last few months. Body will still sustain additional maturation.
Delivery/Mechanics: Worked from the stretch. Quick slide step tempo. Low balance point. Controlled rocker step from the wind up. Higher balance point above the belt. Stabbing take away with an abbreviated arm arc. Lands closed of his line. Some deception present. Falls off to the glove side at finish.
FB: 79 mph w/ 1969 avg. spin. Some ASR present when located to the arm side. Located in the zone.
CB: 67 mph w/ 2007 avg. spin. Early breaking slurve shape. Downer action, 10/4 shape. Feel for location present.
5-foot-8, 155-pound solid frame still youthful in spots with room for additional development as he matures. On the mound, he showed fringe average arm speed, used a ¾ angle with a shorter arm action. He is a feel type pitcher and repeats his delivery well. Has an athletic balance point just above the belt and even shoulders. Lands square, inconsistent with his extension and follow through. Sat with his fastball at 71-72 mph with a max of 73 mph; showed tailing action. His 10/4 curveball (59-60) showed feel at times, has loose side to side action out of the hand.
5-8, 150lb Medium/Small frame with the look and body type of a young athlete. Will continue to mature physically and be worth checking up on down the line. Moderate leg lift from a narrow stance and uphill bat path. Short hand load down to launch position. Collapsed into the back side in an effort to work uphill through the zone. Avg. defender at first with firm hands and longer arm action. Worked with a small rocker step on the mound and a higher leg kick. Deep stabbing take away and full arm action to a H3Q release point. FB showed fade at times and breaking ball was shallow with side/side 10/4 shape
