12/19/15 - The 6-foot-1, 215-pound prospect with a strong build throws from a high ¾ arm slot with quick arm speed and long arm action, has a minimal effort delivery and works slightly across body, misses up and arm-side occasionally which is a product of not consistently getting over front side, fastball shows good arm-side life and sat at 80-82 mph. Owens throws a curveball that sat at 68-71 mph with 11/5 shape and occasional sharp action. Owens changeup had fade movement and was in the strike zone sitting at 74-76 mph. Owens is athletic and has potential to add more velocity moving forward.
