6-foot-1, 165-pound outfielder/right handed pitcher had made quite a jump over the past year. Lean, frame with improving athleticism. At the dish, wide, slightly open stance with long load and toe tap stride generating above average bat speed (Max: 73.2; Avg: 69.2). Still some improvement offensively, as long load creates flat bat path, reflected in low rotational acceleration. Sprayed line drives to all fields with flashes of some pop (Max Exit Velo: 85; Max Distance: 298 ft) as frame continues to mature. Logged a 7.14 on the sixty and looks to be a potential CF profile, but would play an adequate corner. Arm strength made big jump from 77 to 86 with long, quick arm and solid accuracy. On the mound, steady improvement and good projection moving forward. Worked all stretch with lanky limbs working down the slope and arm working up to H 3/4 or Over the Top slot. Heavy FB sat 80-82 with low spin rate (Max: 1974 rpm; Avg: 1827 rpm). Comes out the hand clean with decent life but spotty command, which should improve with more feel for frame. Improved velocities in both CB and CH offerings, which he throws with good arm speed. An intriguing young athlete to follow, who should be a regular two-way contributor at the HS level.
