6-foot, 160-pounds middle infielder has a lean, athletic frame with projection. Defensively, great hands and sound footwork process, leading to quick, clean transfers. Solid runner (7.20) and improving arm strength to stay up the middle. Balanced, tall setup with simple load and good bat speed. Heavy dose of linedrives with some future projection in frame.
5-foot-11, 160-pound lean frame. In the box, Lester had a max exit velocity of 83 mph. Starts in a tall athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick to initiate his swing. Bat speed is average, shows flat swing plane and level finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Line drive approach. Above average while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 77 mph; has soft sure hands, athletic feet and a quick exchange. Decent accuracy to the bag, used a short arm action and a ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.24 at the event.
