Upton, a 6-foot-1, 145-pound outfielder is still maturing physically, but showcases some feel for the barrel hitting from the left side. Playing for The Lab out of Tennessee, he delivered plenty of hits on the weekend, including three against against a potent Georgia Jackets pitching staff. He sets up square with a balanced base, before the hands separate short, down and back into a power position with a minor leg kick. His bat-to-ball skills will help carry him as he continues to add strength, and he currently exhibits an ability to hit line drives to all fields.
