10/1/17 - 60 Time: 7.7, Position Velocity: OF - 81
5'10, 205-pound, LHH had a similar look to last weekend, shows elite bat speed and all-around corner OF tools. Special hitter w/ extension through the zone and back-spin. Improved his 60 time since last year. A must-see 2021 going into the HS season.
9/24/17 - Home-1st: 4.69, Position Velocity: 86, Exit Velocity: 93
5-foot-10, 205-pound, LHH shows excellent pull power that stacks up with any hitter in the country. Short, athletic frame w/ some physical projection remaining. In the box, the lefty hits in a narrow, upright stance w/ back shoulder hand location and slight bat waggle. Leg kick w/ proper load. Does a good job keeping weight back and stay on off-speed pitches. Excellent bat speed. Power to all fields. Put on a show in BP w/ numerous home runs out to right field. Gets a little pull happy in games for fastballs, but will improve at that as he matures. Consistent loud contact. Defensively, moves well in the OF w/ above avg arm strength. One of the top 2021 prospects in the country.
9/24/17 - Max FB: 84, FB: 81-84, CB: 69-72, CH: 71-73,
5-foot-10, 205-pound, LHP featured the top LHP velocity of the event while showing two potential above avg off-speed pitches. Pitches from a full wind-up w/ a step towards the plate and setting of the back foot on the first base side of the rubber. Balance point to hip drive to H ¾ release w/ ultra quick arm. Repeatable mechanics, just needs more reps. FB w/ arm side run and sink. Gets on hitters. CB is tight, medium downer that flashes proper rotation. Struggled to get it out in front on this outing, but will come w/ time and reps. CH w/ arm speed, above avg fade. Flashes as out pitch. More of a thrower learning how to pitch right now. Mechanics suggest control and command will come with time. Exciting 2021 LHP prospect.
