Stewarts Creek made a run to sub-state before getting knocked off by McMinn County. They'll return a good chunk of that roster, especially regarding their deep lineup from last season. Dymond will hit in the middle of the order and manage the pitching staff. He's shown to be a very sound defender and gap power at the plate. The Redhawks will look to get back to the state tourney in 2022, and they should have the fire power to do so.
6-foot-1, 200-pound C prospect with sturdy frame and room to add more strength. At the plate, balanced stance with quiet simple load generating above average bat speed (T 72.1 mph; Avg: 68.8 mph) and promising rotational acceleration (T 17.1 G). Big swing with flashes of gap-to-gap power (T 89.5 mph exit velo), but can improve on barrel control with more swing plane consistency. Strong showing defensively, posting the top pop time (1.89-1.96), in part to quick transfers and excellent accuracy on throws. Quick, short arm with good arm strength (78 C Velo) and well-rounded defensively. Solid runner, logging 7.40 sixty time.
