Delivery: Looks the part on the bump with a large, controlled leg lift and great drive and hip activation down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Does a great job hiding the ball behind his body with a deep drop of the arm out of the glove and a great transfer into a 3/4 release. Will hold more armspeed and velo very well.
FB: T77, 76-77 mph. Creates great extension down the mound. FB presently has some late life and ride to it, but will be one to keep an eye on in the next year. T1873, 1672 average rpm.
CB: 60-62 mph. Shows solid movement with hs CB, with a tendency to have it release early. T2001, 1951 average rpm.

Arm: RH. INF-79 mph. Firm throws from a loose and easy arm action with the ability to use multiple arm angles. Much more to come.
Defense: Early signs of a plus glove, great movements to either side with good timing through the ball. Showed the ability to work with 1 or 2 hands through the ball.
ATH: 7.44 runner in the 60.

Uncommitted. What a Monday it was for Young. Collecting three hits batting in the three-hole for a Top Tier Southeast Knoxville 13u squad. Picking up two pull-side knocks in his first two at-bats collecting two RBIs. In his third at bat Young stepped up to the plate and stung one into the left-center field gap at an exit velocity of 95 MPH, then showed off the wheels motoring around for a triple. Young was all over the barrel Monday afternoon, showing the ability to match plane with tremendous pull-side leverage to match. The projection is substantial for the athletic 6-foot-1, 160-pound incoming freshman.
