6-foot, 175-pound outfielder has a similar profile to his twin brother Tyler, besides throwing from the right side. Proportional, lean frame with some projection. Simple, balanced stance from the left side. Has some Hunter Pence-like rhythm, getting the foot down and spraying hard line drives to all fields. Developing more power and strength, but posses good consistency in barreling up the baseball. Defensively, solid defender as a 7.28 sixty runner and average arm with ability to play multiple OF positions.
6-foot, 175-pound proportional frame. In the box, Jones recorded an exit velocity of 77 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a compact quick load, then used a small leg kick just before his swing. Bat speed is quick, uses flat simple swing plane and level finish. Found a few barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Above average from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 75 mph; shows sure hands, smooth feet and a clean exchange. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a ¾ slot with a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.28.
