Titus Torbett (‘25, Walker Valley) The southpaw had a very good start Thursday against a potent McCallie lineup. The uncommitted Torbett worked ahead in the count very well with his fastball that was 80-82 and topped 84 with some heavy late sink that consistently missed barrels. Coming out of the same tunnel he features a sharp, sweeping action breaking ball that provides many swings and misses. The lefty has seen an upward trend in velocity in the past year which should continue the trend throughout the year as he goes into his senior season.
