5-foot-7, 195-pound. During batting practice, Gantt had a max exit velocity of 82 mph. Started in a balanced open stance with a quick load, then used a quick stride to start his swing. Bat speed is average, shows rotational uphill swing plane and high finish. He found a few barrels in his rounds. Pull side approach. Behind the plate, produced pop times of 2.16-2.22, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 67 mph; has average feet, sure hands and a clean exchange. Wide setup with some flexibility. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a short arm action and a ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.31.
