9/24/17 - Home-1st: 4.84, Pop Time: 2.00-2.06, Position Velocity:  73, Exit Velocity: 90
6-foot-3, 200-pound, RHH showed well throwing w/ power in the bat.  Big, physical kid w/ present strength, projectable frame.  In the box, hits w/ a slightly crouched, slightly opened stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Knee to knee leg kick w/ proper load.  All fields approach w/ projectable above avg power.  Shows bat speed w/ repeatable swing.  Defensively, presents a big target for the pitchers w/ a low target.  Can open the glove more to give pitchers a bigger target to hit.  Can handle premium stuff, showing ability to frame w/ soft hands and beat off-speed pitches to their spot.  Avg arm strength w/ carry to the target and quick release.  High upside uncommitted 2018 C, should be getting looks by all teams looking to fill out their 2018 class with a catcher.

6'3, 200-pound, RHH showed improved strength and performance in many areas of his game since his first appearance at our East TN Prospect Games, hits from a balanced and open stance with relaxed hands, uses that same abbreviated leg kick and aggressive stride with some subtle hand movement to get loaded, lower half fires his hips through quickly and keeps his body in a strong position, swing plane is flat through the zone with some lift at the end that drives the ball to the pull side with some real power potential, can get a little handsy at times.  Defensively, showed good hands and quicker footwork behind the plate, exchange was quick and got rid of the ball from a short arm action through a high ¾ slot, throws had some slight tail. Continues to move up the 2018 ranks.

9/4/16 - Home-1st: 4.91, Pop Time: 2.02-2.17, Position Velocity:  C-72, Exit Velocity: 85
6-foot-3, 185-pound, RHH hits from an athletic and slightly open stance, uses an abbreviated leg kick and an aggressive stride with some rhythmic hand movement to get loaded, lower half fires well and clears his hips to get his back side through, hands come down into a good slot and stay pretty flat through the zone with some lift at the end, can get a little steep on lower pitches, strong kid showed pop to LF.  Defensively, showed soft hands and quick feet behind the plate, quick exchange and arm action through a ¾ slot got the ball to 2B, received very well in game play and worked hard for his pitchers. Long is a 2018 to watch.
